I don't know if I should keep this thing anymore. I don't use it. I almost feel like I'm too old for it. I really like where my life is right now. I miss Jenai but other than that I am surrounded by people I care about. I love my appartment. I am excited to start Grad school in the fall. I have a new job that I really love. And overall, I just really like what is going on around here. |

There is nothing I would like more at the moment than to not feel sick. I'm pretty sure that isn't going to happen. My room mate's birthday is today and I am not going out with them for a couple of reasons- 1. I don't want to drink while I'm sick and taking lots of medicines. 2. I don't have any money. And 3. I think I'm going to go to Nate's house tonight and driving there while even slightly intoxicated is not my idea of a good plan.
Things with Nate are pretty much the best right now. Like, we still are stupid sometimes. But I love him and I really feel happy together, rather than apart. This semester is pretty easy too, which helps me focus on being with him and spending time with my roomies. Who btw are pretty cool. When Heather left for the DR i thought I was going to be miserable, but I can't complain. What I can complain about is the fact that I got rejected from Berkeley. :( 1 school down... 5 to go. |

While on the one hand I am happy that this semester is over, on the other hand I am terrified that I will fail at getting into grad school and who knows where that will lead me. That, and although Nate and I are attempting to be better together at this whole, relationship thing, I was talking to Jenai about everything two nights ago and totally feel like she's right about a lot of what she said in regards to the way things happen that are meant to happen.
Then, if I do get into Grad school on the west coast, I have to leave everything I am comfortable with, everything that is safe and easy, to selfishly pursue something that will be difficult and most likely cost me a lot of time and money. So here's hoping that something good happens to me today and I feel better about life.
Don't get me wrong. There are plenty of good things in my life, and tons of people who have it worse. I just miss feeling like I'm making the right choices about everything.
That; and at the same time all I do is complain. So I'm sorry about that. |

I've been in a terrible mood lately. I just found out that one of my friends who I've known since I was two is sick and I'm really worried. She was just diagnosed with a serious heart condition and needs surgery and I guess I'm just worried because I know it's going to be difficult for her. Anyways it also kind of made me realize that I've been really selfish lately about a lot of things. I need to get through this semester and then hopefully things wont be so completely centered around me. At least I hope that I will be able to stop being so self-centered. I am starting to apply to grad school.
Life keeps getting scarier and scarier by the day. So instead of doing homework or working on my 15 page paper im writing in LJ. That is what the cool kids do. I need to not spend any more money. But what else is new.
Top choice: University of Pennsylvania.
NYU, Cornell, UALBANY.

I think I need to quit my job.
There, I said it. Now everyone who knows me knows that I love/hate my job at the same time, but it's getting to the point of ridiculuous. I have no money. I have no life. I miss my nai.

Why does this always drag me down. And the constant thought that this will get better... never seems to help. |

So not last night but the night before I walked into a door and almost broke my nose. Went to the ER and was there for about 2 hrs just for them to tell me no it's not broken, and even though it hurts like hell, just take some tylenol, and you'll be fine. Fecking doors. Don't they know that they shouldn't be right where I'm walking?!
And last night, I tapped this girl's car when I was parking. I scratched it and now have to pay for her to get a paint job, because it was a nice car and me, with the bad luck I have, need to learn how to park again.
I don't feel like I have enough time for me to be able to get all of my homework done ever, and I am not making enough money to even pay for groceries (let alone pay for someone else's paint job). Money really is the source of all of my anxiety. I'm so stressed out all of the time and I closed my savings account, and I have none saved up for the summer. I would really like to do better in school but I can't because I spend all of my time at work, and whenever I'm not at work, I'm in class, or at Nate's working on homework.
My boyfriend and I can't seem to stop fighting for more than a day, and whenever we do I feel like I can't win. Everything I do is wrong, so why am I even trying? If we're constantly down each other's throats about everything, what's the point. Well I know the point is that I love him and I shouldn't worry, but I just don't have enough time for him and school and work.
Oh yeah, and I have to be at work til 9 tonight, which leaves me absolutely 0 time to do any of my homework. AWESOME!
p.s. I just need to win the lottery. Please. |

I love being at home. Even if at the same time, I hate it. I'm really tired because I've been sick and I'm hoping that it'll end by friday. Two days- not a long time for a quick recovery. I miss Nate when I'm here. And I know he misses me but sometimes I wonder if he really does, or if it's just nice for him to have time off of being le boy.
I'm turning 21 in less than 2 days also. OH I'm pretty much going to pee my pants when I do. It's weird, I'm not that into being a crazy partier, and I definitely don't party hard every weekend, but it'll be nice to be able to have a drink with dinner and to go out if I ever feel like it! Oh and to have a drink at a bar with Jenai. That's definitely one thing I can't wait for. Maybe this year she'll be able to have her birthday margarita at Bombers.
I'm worried about my money situation. I am so broke. I'm trying to save for this summer school thing that I really want to do, and I should have at least half of the money saved by the summer. But I feel like everything wants to cover me all at once. SO much homework. I need to think of some way to get rich fast. If only Nate was a millionaire. That would make my life a lot easier. |

| I have been neglecting lj... |

So my birthday is coming up super fast. I'm turning 21. And I'm really excited. I've been thinking about it for a while and hopefully RORY is going to come down and visit me on friday night and I'll take him out for dinner. And hopefully Jenai and JUSTY will be able to come out for dinner and it will be just like old time's sake. (Well, old times + Nate.) I can't wait to be able to go to a restaurant and have a glass of wine with dinner if I want to. Or legally get very very drunk. Wooot.
I've basically been living at Nate's because his grandparents are out of town. It's pretty nice getting to spend so much time with him. I just want it to be time for us to get a place and be together, even though I know that is a while off. I love him though and (not to be sappy) I just can't wait to spend the rest of whatever with him too...
Now it's off to class and whatnot. :-) |
